The Technical Guidelines on Environmentally Sound E-Waste Management for Collectors, Collection Centers, Transporters, Treatment Facilities and Final Disposal in Ghana have been developed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with the support of the project “Sustainable Recycling Industries” (SRI). In developing these guidelines, reference was made to ISO/IWA 19, Guidance Principles for the Sustainable Management of Secondary Metals, and the European Standards on Collection, Logistics and Treatment Requirements for WEEE – Part 1 General Treatment Requirements (EN 50625-1).
